Family Law
Our firm offers legal solutions to a wide-variety of family law
problems. We can offer your expert representation in the following
areas:

Dissolution of Marriage (Divorce):  Divorce in Oklahoma is based
on principles of "equitable division", and one primary aspect of
divorce is the division of real and personal property between
spouses.  Divorce may also involve issues of child custody, child
support, visitation, alimony, and attorney fees and costs associated
with the litigation.

Child Custody & Visitation:  Divorce also frequently involves
issues of child custody, including determinations of joint, shared, or
sole parental responsibility.  Custody determinations may also
address issues of visitation, transportation, relocation of parents,
medical expenses of the child, and many other issues.  Our firm can
assist you in preparing an detailed initial child custody plan that best
fits the needs of you and your child, or assist you in modifying the
terms of a prior child custody court order or agreement.

Post Divorce Modification:  Under certain circumstances, a party
may seek to modify the terms of a divorce decree or other court
order.  These modifications may include issues of child custody
modification, child support modification, alimony modification, etc.

Domestic Violence Injunctions:  Domestic violence is a serious
issue.  Our firm is experienced in the procedures necessary to
obtain injunctions prohibiting acts of domestic violence to protect
victims of this crime.

Child Abduction: When a child is wrongfully taken from the
custodial parent, quick action is required.  These cases involve
efforts to get children back into the care of a custodial parent.

Child Support: We offer experienced advice to clients regarding
the amount of child support that may become due and owing as a
result of a divorce or other family law matters. We can also assist
with modifications to an earlier child support determination.

Paternity Determinations: Unmarried parents face similar child
custody issues as divorcing parents.  A paternity action is a lawsuit
to determine the legal father of a child.  Either the biological mother
or the biological father can initiate a lawsuit to establish paternity,
and the Court will enter custody, visitation, and child support orders.

Prenuptial Agreements:  Prenuptial Agreements are often used by
people who are not yet married and wish to resolve all financial
issues that may arise in the unlikely event of a divorce.  Our firm can
assist yo in the preparation of an agreement that meets your specific
needs.
